The Gender Positive Alliance 

Our Aim 

​

We are filling the GAPs to find safe spaces for people of all ages who are Gender Questioning, Gender Non-Conforming, Gender Queer and Transgender.

​

We believe that together we can create a world where individuals of all gender identities and expressions can live authentically and with dignity.

​

We aim to find, endorse and encourage Safe Spaces for our community.

We aim to use gender inclusive language throughout this website. Please be patient if we get anything wrong - our team are people of diverse gender identities but we don't know everything! 

We created the GPA because we are very aware that life is becoming increasingly hostile for anyone who isn't cisgender, especially gender non-conforming, gender queer and transgender children. 

We want to make sure the safe places and the voices of allies in the community can be heard by those who most need to hear them. 

The GPA isn't an advocacy group right now, it is simply trying to help people in the gender diverse community finds places they can go and be treated with dignity and kindness.
